Is my donation tax deductible? +
Yes. Bionectus is a registered non-profit in India and donations are eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. You will receive an official receipt via email after your donation is processed.
How is my payment processed securely? +
All payments are handled by Stripe — one of the world's leading payment processors — using bank-level 256-bit SSL encryption. Bionectus never stores your card details on our servers. Stripe is PCI DSS Level 1 certified.
Can I cancel a monthly donation? +
Absolutely. Monthly donations can be cancelled at any time with no notice period, no fees, and no questions asked. Simply email us at bionectuseco@gmail.com or use the cancellation link in your confirmation email.
What percentage goes directly to conservation? +
Bionectus operates with a minimal-overhead model. The vast majority of every donation goes directly to programme activities. We are committed to transparency and publish annual reports on fund allocation.
Can I donate from outside India? +
Yes. Stripe accepts international cards and currencies. For large international donations or wire transfers, please contact us directly at bionectuseco@gmail.com so we can assist you with FCRA compliance requirements.
Will I receive a donation receipt? +
Yes. An automatic email receipt is sent immediately upon successful payment. For official 80G tax receipts, please allow up to 7 working days. Contact us if you don't receive yours.
